byJets will use a new type of Business jets (Very Light Jets" - VLJ) that require less runway length that traditional bizjets.

This will make it possible for byJets to use more smaller secondary airports (600+ airports in Europe) and will start enabling a true door to door transportation model: customer will indicate to byJets its origin address and its destination address, and byJets will organise its trip between these two adresses, by selecting the optimum departure and arrival airports taking into account many economical, operational and time constraints.

The byJets customer will not have to bother anymore to identify and work out multiple transportation scenarios himself. He will only be charged for the flights he will be on, and not for the aircraft positioning flights.

To facilitate the customer's decision, it is the intent of byJets to not only compute the full doorstep to location transportation on byJets aircraft, but also to offer a time and cost comparison tool with other available transportation means for the same trip. byJets is currently developing the IT solution  with a number of partners. 

Please find herafter how a door to door trip with byJets compares for instance with a typical trip relying on scheduled airlines: byJets offer much more flexibility (the customer has a say on his timetable!) and less hassle, and usually byJets total trip times are shorter than trips with scheduled airlines, as byJets flights are more direct.
